The Cornwall Humanists Group was founded in 1991, and is affiliated to the British Humanist Association and the National Secular Society. We promote Humanism and represent atheists, agnostics and the like-minded throughout Cornwall and beyond. We provide friendship, and a forum for discussion and support. In the National Census of 2001 about 16%, over 80,000 people in Cornwall, declared themselves to have "No Religion". breakdown of religion in Cornwall (they are not all members).

We meet every third Tuesday of the month for discussions and we have occasional speakers (see DIARY page) in the Killifreth Room of Chacewater Village Hall, except December, when there is no meeting. We usually have about six social events each year, hosted by members or outings to places of interest.
